Two Medals More

Today a terrific sesión it has been lived on the Olympic Games, which are being held in Río until next Sunday. The day started so bad for Spain on archery with the participation of Jose Luis Albariño and Juan Carlos martin on the second round and both of them were defeated by a Corean and by a French respectively. In tándem, golf made its appearance with the presence of Sergio Garcia and Alvaro Guzmán, who committed some mistakes and both of them were relegated to the last positions.

The afternoon also had a lot of mishaps. On basket, the Spanish team won with clear mastery to Senegal, in this way they passed to the next round. Moreover, on waterpolo, Spain won to EEUU on a gripping game and in hockey the Spanish team only could draw with Brazil, which had all the public support. On the other hand, both teams of beach volleyball lost their respective matches with Brazil, although they played espectacular and fantastic matches.

Evening came, and with it the great triumphs in tennis and in weightlifting. Of course, in tennis Spain had many possibilities of triumph thanks to rafa nadal. Noneless, he is not totally o.k. due to the fact that Rafa has his wrist badly injured. Added to this, the terrible tiredness he has been dragging during all the turnament despite of the tight Schedule he has had, thus he had to play on individuals plus doubles. For all, Nadal won on individuals in 3 sets and after two hours and a half he has reached the semi-finals, where he will struggle against Del Potro for the final. In the middle of this match, Lydia Valentin uphold an intense quarrel for the medals, lifting 141 kg, and proclaiming at last third, thus bronze medal for her. On the other individuals match, Roberto bautista had a rough and rousing battle against Del Potro. However, Bautista lost for 7-5 and 7-6 after more of two hours on the court.

Two hours after Rafa Nadal won his match, he had to play the doubles match final with his fellow and great friend marc Lopez. What a esplendid match. Both partners, the Spanish and the Rumanian played a remarkable plus riveting match and after two hours and a half and 3 sets played, the gold medal was for the Spanish team.

This news report conclude with swimming. At 3 a.m. Mireia Belmonte swum her last race, 800-metre breast-stroke, one of her fetuche and favourite races. Nevertheless, she was forth after the great ledeki, Fox and Reed, her rivals during all the event.
